    Quick Fix

    Hello fellow GD owners.

For the past year or so the drawer under the TV in my 303 keeps coming open when we're on the road. I've tried to adjust the drawer locking clips, but they are not holding. Not long after we had the trailer, the drawer it came out and fell onto the floor, so I had to realign the sliding brackets which seem to work for a while. I've even taken out most the stuff in the drawer hoping it would stay locked, with no luck.

I was hoping someone had a quick fix without going for a whole new locking system.

    Thanks

Not sure about updating any OEM hardware, but we have used some of these on our cabinet doors and drawers and they do a good job keeping things shut. We place the thru the handles.

I have the middle of three drawers that keeps on popping out near one of my slides. I place a wooden dowel through all of the handles which keeps it in place while traveling. Temporary fix but it works!

I had a similar issue with one of my drawers right by the slide. It would always pop open and at the worst time. I replaced the slides and the locks mechanisms for each drawer.

    I used this lock mechanism:

Not sure of the drawer depth for your application. I also got replacement slides from Amazon. Home Depot or Lowe’s didn’t have the size I needed which was 10 inch.

Had the same problem and used this

mounted on a small block of wood so the slide just cleared the surface of the drawer face when extended

Thanks for the info. I've ordered both the latch and slide lock. We live in such a rural area when I order or buy things, I usually get 2 of each. Just a habit.

Again, thanks and can't wait until the weather turns better so we can hit the road. But as a lifelong Californian I never say "I wish it would quit raining" because it does at times.
