Shower Question
Hello, our shower is the walk-in two sliding door configuration. The doors do not seal well so I was thinking about adding a shower curtain inside of the sliding doors. Is there something all ready made to add something like that? If not, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

If you have water leaks from the shower doors there is a good chance that it is leaking under the bottom track. Grand Design puts a piece of foam tape between the bottom shower track and the shower pan then adds a couple of globs of sealer. Common for them to leak. Add sealer to the inside where the bottom track meets the shower pan. If you want a better repair job, remove the screws from the bottom track, raise the track, clean the crud out add sealer and remount the track.

The above advice on resealing the bottom is good regardless if that's the issue or not.
What trailer do you have? Some models have the straight doors and others have the radius corner shower . Hanging a rod is obviously easier for the straight door. . it could also be a matter of adjusting the door in the sliders so they hang straight for a good seal. That can be a tedious adjustment but doable if you have patients.Last edited by WhittleBurner; 01-09-2023 at 04:22 PM.

Hmmm.If I was hanging a curtain....I'd be tempted to just remove the doors. Maybe.

I had always thought I would never want a curtain. A few months ago, one of the rollers broke off my door, fortunately no broken glass. I removed the door and planned to get to fixing the roller. I bought a tension rod and short shower curtain (I think it was 5 feet wide) as a temporary fix.
After having the curtain up for a bit, both my wife and I agreed we like it better. Oddly enough, the bathroom feels bigger. It's super easy to clean and at ~$5 for the vinyl curtain, plan is to toss it when it gets dingy.
Right now the glass door is in my garage, and I have left the tracks in place. My plan is to give it a season and see if we still feel the same. At this point, I foresee me taking on the project of taking the tracks out completely.2017 Ford F350 Platinum 6.7L PowerStroke DRW
