Yes, the ignorance of a few forces regulations on all of us. I have two quick examples. A few years ago my sister called saying she had headaches in the morning. She suspected carbon monoxide (CO) from her gas furnace. I suggested she call the gas company to come test for CO. They did and couldn't find anything. Before leaving, my sister asked him to test near their wood burning stove in the basement. He did, detected CO and then looked at her and said, "I didn't know you could get CO from a fire"! If the gas company employees don't know then we're all in trouble.

I was in Brownsville TX in Feb, 2020, when the winter storm hit. No power for several days. No power means gas stations can't pump gas, propane stations can't pump propane. People were buying barbeque grills and charcoal to heat their homes. Many of these people had never seen cold weather in their lives.

Education needs to begin at home as well as in the schools. [Political comment deleted.]

Thanks Rob. Threads like this are candy to folks and very hard to resist. It was just a matter of time.
