    Now wondering if I should give some help to truck to keep it cool. Do have the small 3.0 duramax.
    Larger radiator, oil mods, second fan?
    Suggestions?

    If the truck has the factory tow package with integral brake controller, receiver hitch, and 7 way plug, I wouldn't do anything. It is ready to tow.

    Looks like you're new here, just wanted to reach out and say welcome to the forum. Having towed with a half-ton and a 3/4 ton, I wouldn't want to be towing the 260RD (my current coach) with a half-ton truck. You can do it, but as others have said it isn't advised in the long run. There's enough that can go wrong on the road, having confidence you can control and stop your rig when needed is important.

    That's a great floorplan, hope you'll enjoy the new coach.

    My RV is dimensionally almost identical. I am very pleased with how my 2016 GMC does towing it after a few easy mods, and after splurging for the best hitch money can buy. Your truck has an additional 3.5" wheelbase that will help also.

    I swapped the stock tires for Nexen Roadian RA8 load range E rubber.
    Added Roadmaster Active Suspension set with spring spacing the thickness of a US Quarter.

    Those changes both helped a lot. I went with the ProPride hitch because we do an annual trek cross country and you can't put a price on safety.

    @Fire362 -

    Here are a few forum tips:

    1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here using the Multi-Quote function, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

    2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

    I have a 2022 2500RL and tow with a 2019 Sierra Denali with the 6.2 gasser. Once I had the hitch properly set up I have had no problems with squat or towing. Just use in the Midwest, but have been very happy with the overall set up and floorplan of the camper.
