First off, it looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum. A bit more information about what you're looking to accomplish would be helpful. Are you planning to use the water system in freezing temperatures and want to sanitize it first?

Starting out in freezing weather and going to full hook up in warm weather. I live in Illinois and want to sanitize the pipes and the water heater but don’t need to sanitize the freshwater tank as I will not use it. The temperature here is below freezing. Just wondering what other snowbirds do.

It might be best to use bottled water until you get to warmer weather. Then sanitize as usual.
