Bought it!
Yesterday Jo Ann and I started the buying process for the 2022 315RLTS that I referenced in my previous posts. We go back Monday to take delivery. We'll spend Monday night at the dealership to try as much stuff as we can, then, if all is well, we'll head back to our winter digs so we can get ready for the summer travels.

Congratulations! Linda and I have the same model. We picked it up back in August. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours.

Thanks, everyone. We've figured out how to manage having two RVs and only one lot. We had one reasonable solution yesterday, then got a better one this afternoon, and a few minutes later had an even better one. Our two homes will be about a block apart, thanks to the generous offer of a neighbor. Sunday afternoon we'll move the Foretravel to the other lot, leaving in it what we'll need for the night and another day. Monday morning we'll head off to the dealership, Holiday World of Las Cruces, to finish the deal. That, and the walk-through, will take all of Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, the shop will be busy getting the truck ready to start towing. We'll spend Monday night at the dealership's campground. If all is still good we'll head back to The Ranch and park our new home on our lot. We can then spend time putting things away and getting the Foretravel cleaned out (and up) for the new buyer, due in later in February.
Thanks to the generosity of our neighbor, we'll be able to have both rigs plugged in, so no issues with heat.
Yes, we're eagerly looking forward to getting into our new home and planning our travels.David Lininger, kb0zke

Tomorrow is the day for picking up our new trailer! There are two routes between here and the dealer. The shorter one goes over a mountain, while the longer one goes farther south. Our plan was to take the shorter route there, then the longer one back. Unfortunately, there is a very large boulder sitting on the highway up in the mountains, so we're going to take the longer route both ways. The plan is to arrive at the dealership right after lunch, having fed both of us and the truck. Then the afternoon will be spent learning about our new home while a couple of strong young people install the hitch on the truck and match truck and trailer. Then we'll spend tomorrow night at the dealership's campground, testing everything we can. If all goes well we'll head home Tuesday morning. If not, we'll stay as long as necessary to get things right. If we have to return another day we can do that, too.
