Hydraulic lift Cart - aka scissor lift carts
I am trying to find a reasonably price hydraulic lift cart that can reach 38" which is the approximate tail gate height on my new truck. Some call then scissor lift carts. Weight capacity does not really need to be over 500 lbs, but at that weight rating they only go about 30 - 34" in height or less. I am trying to stay under $600.
Here are a few examples, none of which lifts to 38"
https://www.harborfreight.com/1000-l...art-60438.html 1000 lb 34.5" lift
https://www.harborfreight.com/500-lb...art-61405.html 500 lb 27.5" lift
https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/81454/10002/-1 1000 lb 31" lift
https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/81426/10002/-1 500 lb 28.5"
So do anyone of you own something like this and can make recommendations? I could probably make the HF one work with a simple platform on top, but reviews are dismal.

This looks like it could work for you: https://www.lift-tables.net/liftprod...ml/mml-30d.php
No pricing on the website, and it's commercial/industrial so most likely a little pricey.
Cheers!

I would second the Northern Tool recommendation and their products. I have lots of items from their company and like them. How often will you use the cart? If you use it on a periodic basis.....probably no issues there at all. If you use it 100x a day lifting heavy things....it may not last forever. I have used one at the Chevy dealership where I used to work many, moons ago. They're awesome. I have also thought about getting one several times for my shop but I end up using my tractor with the forks for now. Good luck.

Update - as this is an old thread I thought I would post what I got. I paid nowhere near the current price - around $500 if I remember correctly.

I have the Harbor Freight 1,000 lb version. It's about 10 years old and still working without a hiccup - 0 problems. I use it about twice a month to lift a 400 lb tool chest into and out of my Tundra. It reaches to it's advertised height which is about 1/2" higher than it needs to. I've had very good luck with Harbor Freight stuff in general, but I'm not buying power tools I use everyday either.
