Cheap Lithium Batterues -- New Lowest Price as of Feb '23

I found a new lower price on 12v Lithium batteries (LiFePo4).

I could not find a tear down video of this battery, however, it has some good Amazon reviews and I found a review video for the 300ah battery (link to the video below). I also found a review/recommendation for the 300ah version for Dump trailers (link below).

Their Smart version has a built-in heater that warms the battery when the air is below 32 F. Amazon is selling it right now (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4W6KY5M) for $1,009 with a $60 coupon for the 300 Ah version. That seems like a very good price for a battery that checks all the boxes including low-temperature protection and Bluetooth monitoring.

I just checked and thinking about getting the smart 200ah for $798 cause it also has $100 discount on top.

That is more than 3 times the price of the battery this thread is about.
Yes it does have more features, but the price of admission will likely keep those who are looking to spend 300.00 or so from buying it

FWIW, that is the price for a 300 AH battery vs a 100 AH battery, so you're not going to find that battery for $300.

Does anyone know if the stock charger on a 2023 17MKE can charge a lithium battery correctly if I just swap out the standard battery?
Just buying the 17MKE and will pick it up Monday. Has the basic solar 165w panel.

You should be able to confirm the following with your Dealer...

It has been reported that Grand Design has begun installing "Lithium Ready" Converters in all of their new campers. Additionally, your Solar Charge Controller should have a setting for Lithium batteries.

In theory the Converter is able to "Auto Sense" the Lithium batteries, however some people have had trouble with the stock WFCO Converter sensing their Lithium battery and also keeping the WFCO Converter from reverting back to the Lead Acid settings. The Solar Charge Controller should be a physical switch somewhere on the Controller itself.

The 100 Ah Smart version is $398 with a $50 coupon. Still a pretty good price for all you're getting.

FWIW, that is the price for a 300 AH battery vs a 100 AH battery, so you're not going to find that battery for $300.

I think veryone understands that.
