You should be fine until you're not. Which may come when you least expect it.

If you are involved in a serious at fault accident - God forbid - you will be open to criminal and civil liability. You are way over payload capacity of your vehicle.

Also, that camper will NOT get even close to that 10999 weight as we never pull it with any water

I don't think anyone is being negative. Trucks can tow a lot its more of a "should I tow" question than a "can I tow" question.
It's camping and everyone here loves it. No one wants to see anyone put themselves in a bad position but if you do it knowingly - at least you were informed.

If you look back at earlier posts, I believe I also stated that I know I'd be over weight when I bought it and know the risks associated.
This is not my first rodeo. And again, it was just a question asking what everyone was using as their tow rigs. It was just a question, and stating what I had to start the thread.

The 295 is fantastic - a lot packed into a good size. We had a 260rd and just loved it. We got out of camping because I took a new job. We're now looking at.a solitude 280rk but my f350 only has 3600lbs payload. Needed a dually and may bite the bullet and order one.

I pull mine with a 2019 F250 XLT 6.7 diesel. The door sticker reads payload of 2499 and I feel that I'm already at the max when I'm loaded with stuff and ready to go

I tow my 2021 295RLS with a 2021 Ram 2500 HD with the 6.4. I had a 2017 Ram 2500 5.7 before that I hauled my 2017 Imagine 2670 with. When we decided to upgrade to the 5th wheel I knew that the truck with the 5.7 would be underpowered even tho the weight would have worked. I didn't want to get into the deisel world and it's higher maintainence costs even tho I knew it would be towing monster. Even tho we are retired most of our towing is in the southeast, with occasionial trip to some other destinations. Good luck to you in the future and just be really careful pulling with your 1500.
