Lithium-over-Lead-Acid-Batteries
I think they all do. I have the PD-9160ALV which is lithium only. No problem right? Wrong. Multiple charge sources (in my case it was solar and shore) confused it into thinking it didn't have to charge on shore power???? Long talk with Progressive Dynamics while on the road and not being able to get SOC over 75% via multiple days with shore power or generator over 11 days of travel. Finally had to run the batteries down below 12.8V to get the PD-9160 to charge. PD tech support recommended the pendant so I could just press a button to get the PD to charge over 3amps, except that it is not compatible with the version I have installed. I was thinking about a auto detect, but not after some of the threads. I don't think there is a perfect solution.
