    Screw Heads damaging slide seal

These screw heads were scratching and damaging the slide seal. I’ve covered them with gorilla tape. All is well. Thought I would share.

I had the same problem. Not real sure why it is happening but may be due to the slide box not centered in the hole. I removed the screws and replaced them with stainless steel counter sunk screws then covered with gorilla tape.

It’s not the slide box. It’s just that the screw heads are burred and very sharp probably from the screw gun used at installation. Gorilla tape is perfect for this.
