Microwave thermal breaker

Has anyone replaced the thermal breaker on their Furrion microwave. We have a 2020 Reflection and the microwave shuts off after about 15 seconds and then resets. This has been going on for about a year, first it would run for about 4 minutes before shutting off; the time kept shortening until we are now at 15 seconds. Thanks.

Wow, 15 seconds, you can't heat much up with that. Seriously though, might you be better off just replacing the whole unit?

Yes, agree. May be more work figuring out the issue. I do know there is limited documentation an these units too. If it’s still under warranty maybe a replacement?

Thanks. That's on my to do list if I can find a good replacement, preferable NOT a Furion. My next project is to look at different installation manuals to make sure I have the right attachment points for a new one.

Bill, it's not under warranty. I'm researching replacement microwaves that will fit the opening with similar attachment requirements. Thought I'd see if the thermal breaker replacement would work. You're right about the documentation, too. Thanks.

Is it the micro/convection combo?

Didn't know it had a thermal switch. Is it in the magnetron power cct?

Scott n' Wendy, thanks. I hadn't considered the magnetron. I think it's time to walk away. I have previously replaced the door handle switch holder (twice) and two switches, plus many fuses trying to figure out that problem. This latest issue is just one too many for me to appreciate the Furion microwave any longer. Looking for a good replacement now.
