I'd like disc brakes on my Imagine for their consistency more than anything. On my drums, there's a big difference in stop and go traffic when they're hot vs cool. But, if I crank up the gain too high, I can lock them up. I don't think I need any more binding power than that.

Having just traded my 2950, after 26,000 miles, I would spend the money on the suspension.

I had a 2600, before the 2950, and, also, towed it with an F-150.

    The brakes are fine.

If you just have to spend money, get a Hensley or a ProPride hitch, then beef up the suspension, as those stock bushings wear out, fast.

Mor-Ryde CRE3000, heavy-duty shackles, wet bolts, X-braces and Sumo Springs make a world of difference in tracking and handling.

Start with the hitch and add, as needed...

Thanks for the input. I've looked at the suspension and see lots of room for improvement. Like you said, wet bolts, and CRE3000, but I saw a post on the sister GD forum that one guy seemed to have issues with the upgrade you're referencing. https://

Oopsie, you ran into the forum war. These 2 sites aren't sisters - more like mortal enemies. ;-)
