    Front jacks keep blowing fuse

We have a 2015 reflections BH and we have had it blow the fuse 2 twice in the last 3 trips. Seems like smithing has to be causing this to keep happening. Anyone else have this happen? First time it happened we were 4 hrs from home camping and couldn't even get the manual to turn it was so hard. This time we just got back from 8 hr drive home and it went out again.

The fuse is for the front landing legs. To get it off the hitch.

If this is happening when you run the landing gear all the way up, this is a common problem. There is no limit switch to stop from coming up hard against the end stop and blowing the fuse. The easiest solution is to put a paint mark on the landing gear leg about a 1/4" from all the way up and stop retracting when you get to this mark.

I spoke to the manufacturer service manager and he suggests replacing the fuse with a 40amp (instead of the installed 30amp). Not sure this is the right thing to do.
I am trying to get better solution from the Landing Jack manufacturer. Personally, I think the motor may be too small for the weight of the trailer. I previously owned a Jazz fifth wheel and never blew the fuse in 11 years of use.

Mine has a 10amp fuse in it. It has never blown while operating. It is usually a day or two later. It is located behind the battery box. To me, it seems as there is a load on that fuse all the time. When you replace it with a new fuse it pops a little like it does when you plug in a vacuum and it is turned on.

x2 reply post #3. First retract operation on our 303rls I blew the 30a fuse. No issues now that I leave a 1/4 inch gap before full retract.

It never does it while operating. It's usually after it sits for a week or two. I use auto retract when hooking up.
