Mold issues?
New to Grand Design, but have been RVing for 35 years. We have a 2023 imagine 2500RL with the walk thru bathroom. Shower stall has the “squeegee” sliding enclosure. Concerns for mold/ mildew. Have not taken “shake down cruise” yet 😊

First off @ElsaHill, it looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum. Hopefully, you'll be able to take your "shakedown" cruise soon. What are your mold concerns around? I'm guessing you haven't seen any mold yet, where exactly do you think you'll have an issue (pictures help)?

Welcome to the 2500RL and the forum
We added a compressed bar and showe curtain and don’t use the flimsy setup to insure no mold also

If the OP is asking about the GD OEM retractable rolling shower doors, the shower on our 2019 295RL (owned since new) shows no mold on the curtain, base, or walls.
We do use a water softener on all incomming water and rinse off the shower insides after each usage. Other than the occasional hair removal from the drain catch, no real shower maintenance has been required to keep soap scum and/or body oil from building up.Jim and Annette

No mold for us in the shower either
After 1 year of use, I noticed some small spots of mold under the mattress, just received a new bed and have the Hypervent coming this week should address that issue
While camping in the Pacific North West in Sept through early Nov last year, tons of moisture inside due to the heater running and cold outside temps, we did see some mold starting on the inside of the windows... had to wipe them down every couple of days
Good luck and enjoy2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

Thank you for the replies. No mold or mildew, just concerns that enclosure will not dry out completely. I always keep the bathroom vent open. I have a shower rod and curtain is needed.
