I would guess that it will come down to what your trade is and if it is worth $8000.

I'm just trying to find out what's possible. Assume the trade-in is good. Could I get a 2023 for 62k?

I guess I don’t understand why you are asking here
Call or email dealers that have the unit on the ground and ask them
They are the only ones that have the answer

You need to negotiate three items in the following order, not how much a month. The monthly payment will be based on the factors below.
1- Price paid for unit after all fees and options
    2- Trade in value
3- Interest rate and years financed.

For example negotiating an additional $1,000 price reduction or $1,000 better trade in value would reduce your loan by $1,075 after figuring taxes, and it will reduce monthly payment $8.92/month. That $8.92/month saves you $2,140 over the life of the loan

But with a 20 yr (240 month) loan you will be upside down throughout the life of the loan. You will never have equity in the RV. Are you willing to do this?

You do realize that in you example of $490/month for 240 months @7.9% is $117,600? Then if you add you $8,000 trade in you would have paid $125,600 for that RV!!

My opinion it's a bad idea to finance these RV's for 20 years. I doubt it will last that long and as previously stated you will be upside down in your equity for most of the loan period. I would suggest looking for a used trailer 2-3 years old. Pay less, finance less for a shorter period.

Yea, kinda like a 30-year mortgage. Ideally, I would have cash, but since I don't have 60k I will have to finance it. Unfortunately, I had to upgrade the truck which was a major financial headache (because of the used car market). I think if I can initially afford the payments and pay extra later is a better option (also refi when rates come down).

Good luck with your quest. What are you trading in?

The used and new truck market today is crazy. It’s tough to find a deal on a truck on a dealers lot. When ordering new there’s more of a chances for a deal but the wait time is real long. You will enjoy your F-250 diesel.
