2021 GD 260RD Replacement Hitch

Hello, we’re new to this forum. Thank you for allowing us to join your group. We have a 2021 GD 260RD (GVWR 9995) with a Lippert Turning Point Pin box assembly. We just upgraded to a Chevy Silverado 2500 6’ 10” bed with a Gooseneck/ Puck system and would like to upgrade to the Gen-Y Executive Series Hitch, 5th Wheel Pin Box Replacement with Gooseneck Coupler (Auto Latch Coupler & Cable). After contacting Gen-Y it was suggested we get the GH-8047AL (3.5K).
Has anyone upgraded to the Gen-Y hitch? Any useful thoughts regarding 260RD Gooseneck upgrades?

The Gen Y is the only option you have to replace the Turning Point pinbox.

Welcome to the forum @Kampdan, glad to have you with us. That's a great combo you have there (our 260RD is one year younger, but our Silverado is four years older). We love ours, the 260RD is a great couples camper. Let us know how we can help. We have the Anderson hitch so I can't help you with the Gooseneck.
