The outlets are 120V AC, the lights are 12V DC. The AC power uses the breakers, the 12V uses fuses.

    Have a V(olt)O(hm)M(eter0 handy?

The heater is unplugged. I don't recall the wattage at the moment. I've utilized many times before with no problem, but I ALSO plugged in a 2nd heater at the same time which I think the system couldn't handle. I'm going to try replacing the fuses. I think that's the problem.

If it was the heater/s that caused the problem, the problem is going to be the 120V system, i.e. the circuit breakers. The 12V issue is likely going to stem from something else, but checking fuses is a good place to start.

Sounds very much like a converter issue

Power not working to NON-GFCI outlets (GFCI outlets ARE working)

I think you need to check the connection at the pedestal

    Did you lose all 12volt?

I would say you are only getting half of your power

It does sound like half the power is out, and I'd bet the converter is on the leg of power that is out causing the 12v issues. Are you sure you reset all the breakers (turn them to fully off and then back on), sometimes it's hard to see a tripped breaker. Also check the breaker at the pole if it tripped. Both pole 50A breakers should be tied together, but you never know.

That certainly sounds logical. It happened to us once when the power cord lost internal connection.

Thanks everyone for your input! I replaced all the fuses and reset the breakers and it worked! Honestly, I don't think I FULLY turned off the main house breaker so I'm not sure if it is the replaced fuses that fixed it or if it's because I PROPERLY and fully turned off the main breaker that leads to the pedestal. However, I'm going to guess it was the fuses since I did have power to part of the RV.... Let me know your opinion, for future reference! ;-)

Did you find any fuses blown? And it would seem likely that one leg of the 50 amp power had popped the breaker, and the converter was on that leg. So, no converter, no 12V. When you reset the breakers all was back as it should be. Was the outlet that had the second heater on it, one that no longer worked?
