50 to 30 to 20 amp for charging battery
Using the proper step-down adapters, of course, is it safe to use adapters to go from a 50 amp rig service down to a 30 amp adapter and then a 15/20 amp adapter to just keep the battery charged? I wouldn't even dream of running any appliances this way...

That is what I do when parked in my side yard. And I run 1 AC unit at a time once in awhile. And run refer to prep for trips. (Not at same time as AC)
