Nothing from Lippert yet...but this is from Grand Design based upon my VIN (2021 Solitude 310-GK.

"Thank you for contacting Grand Design customer support. The leveling jacks are rated at 52-64ft-lbs and this will be applicable to your front, middle and rear jacks."

I know that seems inaccurate....we'll see what Lippert says.

For those size bolts that seems inadequate, I agree. Probably should be sure you and Grand Design are talking about the same mounting bolts.

I thought so. There is a thread over on the Montana website going through this same discussion and it turns out the specs GDvgave me are what they settled on. I've got a case # from Lippert... So just have to wait.

Also... They are flanged nuts and bolts. Torque applied to the bolt works.

Yeah, if the flanged nuts are lock nuts, then you would tighten the bolt head. But all flanged nuts are not locknuts. It just seems odd to me that you would not tighten a bolt to it's normal recommended torque settings.

After doing some research, it would appear that a 1/2"-20 plated Grade 5 bolt would be 64 ft.lbs. Non plated would be 85 ft.lbs. Grade 8 bolts are 90 ft.lbs. and 120 ft.lbs. respectively

So it would appear that those 64 ft.lbs are definitely within the ballpark. I guess I'm just too used to thinking in terms of lug nuts, and their torque settings.

    This from Lippert....

Update....still no more noises from my level up system. I'm not seeing a downside to being torqued slightly above spec.
