Renogy or something else?

Looking to install a 400 watt kit on our Solitude this spring. Been looking hard at Renogy, just because they seem most popular. Any other companies worth looking at? I'll be using it for 2 lead acid batteries and tying in our Bluetti 200max also.

My renogy stuff has served me well for 3 different units and at least 10 years now. 1st set transferred to second 5W and then sold, so got the 400W set for the current 5W.

I have four 100 watt Renogy panels on my trailer. Two were bought in 2013 and were originally used for a different application. They all seem to work fine. The two from 2013 have snail trails and someday this summer I'll check the output is still good. I think the 25 year Renogy power output warranty will replace them if there's an issue. I don't know how prevalent snail trails are with Renogy products, but it's something to look into.

Not a fixed panel and not what you asked about, but I also have the BigBlue 100 watt portable and it's a great compliment to the roof top solar. Just thought I'd share.

+1 on the Renogy brand. I've had good luck with the Renogy equipment I've used over the past five years.

Six Renogy 175 watts solar panels. The 200 watts panels were just a bit longer and I could not put two of the 200 watts panels between vents and another obstruction mounted on the roof. I have the Renogy 12V 50A DC to DC Charger with MPPT which handles 600watts of solar (going to setup a portable solar array for it), Renogy 100A 12V/24V/36V/48V DC Input MPPT Solar Charge and a blue tooth for both. Been working like a champ for almost a year now.

Similar to others, been pretty happy with Renogy. I have 2x 200w solar panels on my roof (in addition to a 165w Furrion) and a 40a DC to DC charger in my front bay. I have a friend that's installing a 2000w inverter in his class c. I've read plenty of good things about their entire lineup of products and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

That said, I'm also a huge fanboy of Victron equipment but it does come with a higher price point.

May I ask how you connected the Furrion with the Renogy panels? Or, did you leave the Furrion separate with the OEM controller? I want to add solar and not sure if I should just replace the Furrion panel and controller that came with the unit...?

Long story, but I have two 200W portable systems made from Renogy components. No issues.

Each side is in series (three panels per side) and then the two are combine into parallel right before the factory-installed prewired port on top that is going to the front compartment. The Renogy 100A can handle the voltage with no problems. My plan is to put two more Renogy 100watt panels to finish the system for 1250 watts, the Renogy 100 can handel 1300 watts of solar if set for a 12 volt system. If the batteries are setup for 24 or 48 volts, then the solar watts the Renogy 100A can handle goes up dramatically. Basically, it will feed 100 amps, so at 12 volts (13*100amps = 1300 watts of solar panels), (24*100amps =2400 watts of solar panels), and (48*100amps = 4800 watts of solar panels). However, this RV's roof is not big enough for more panels so for now 12 volts works.
