We picked up our unit from the dealer and the swaybar was installed wrong by them and resulted in the swaybar ball mount to rip out of the frame causing a slight bulge. Upon getting home we found our door hard to close without slaming it along with the deadbolt inoperable and the bedroom window hard to open. I asked the dealer if this was related to the blunt force of the swaybar issue and the reply was this is typical if the 'shakedown process' and not unusual. Also, the slide does not sit flush at one side of the wall when extended. And as a side note, there is a leak at the skylight with no power to the microwave or theater seats. Is all this typical, expected with our new unit? All this and properly reinstalling is sway bar they said would be corrected. Looking for input/feedback from the community. Concerned about the possibility of integrity of the frame? Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome! Sorry you are having a bad way to go right off the bat. The first question I have is did you open the windows and slides during the pdi and did the door open and close ok? As well as checking out all the appliances and plugs.
These things should all be checked before driving off the lot.
It is normal to find some of those things and that's what makes the inspection before driving off so important. The dealers usually fix things faster before the check is written.
In light of the hitch issue I would have an inspection of the frame done before the dealer gets it back to compare to. Best of luck getting this all resolved

Yes to all the issues regarding the walkthru except didn't think of checking the slide engagement. They are picking up the unit Wednesday to repair and correct said issues. Wasn't sure it should happen taking it home

Some things do happen but likely the slide was already out of adjustment. I still think if you can, have the frame looked at to either confirm or not dealers assesment .

How do you mean the sway bar was installed wrong by them?
It sounds like you had it to tight if it ripped off
Many have spent money to get better hitches than it sounds like you have
What is your tow vehicle and what type of hitch are you using?2021 Imagine 2400 BH

We picked up the unit this past Friday. The dealer installed my Pro Series WD hitch and swaybar along with setting tension on the bar. It was turned with one finger until snug then added 1/4 turn. we stopped on the way home and did a walkaround and found the swaybar issue. The swaybar ball mount was installed @ 20" vs the required 24" from the hitch receiver which I found checking specs for installation. This apparently left little room for the swaybar to operate properly when turning. I sent them pictures of the damage and didn't dispute or deny anything. Towing with a ford F150 3.5l v6 ecoboost with max tow package. They are picking up the unit this Wednesday and said everything will be made right
