Mounting a Magnetic Knife Holder

I would like to mount a magnetic knife holder on the wall. I thought about double sided Gorilla Tape but see it is only rated to hold 1 pound per 4 inches of tape. That may be adequate as it will only be holding three knives but I am a bit concerned and would like to ensure it is secure. Any ideas?

I used 2) 3m velcro strips to hang our bar and it's stayed in place but I do take the knives off during travel.

I used screws into the wood panel to the side of the cooktop in our rig (next to the refrigerator). The strip holds anything we can put on it - but everything goes in a drawer for travel.

I added a magnetic knife holder above the top shelf in the pantry with screws. Knives have yet to fall off and we leave in place when travelling.

Just remember to clean and dry the area completeley for applying. Also add pressure to the strip when pulling the tab to remove if you decide to remove the strips in the furutre or it could take the fake wood grain with it.
We have had the bar up for about 4 years, maybe longer.
