Help me decide - 21G Vs. 25G I need your opinions & experience

Im buying a new Momentum G series this spring - Ive been wishing after a 21G for several years.

I walked thru a 25G last weekend and I really love the floor plan with the Bathroom separating the Bedroom.
I'm only hesitant because of the extra length..... Will I get "used to it" being 31 feet long?
Is that little bit extra main room slide out floor space worth it?

I was all set..- ready to drop my deposit and order my 21G build.
Now I am really interested in maybe going with the 25G.

Im coming from a 20' Coachmen Toy Hauler- (It's only me & the wife and we only carry 1 motorcycle.)

Is a 31' travel trailer difficult to maneuver?
would the length matter much between the 27' 21G and the 31' 25G?

I'm pulling with a Ford Super Crew F250 -V8 Gas engine.

ANY information, opinions, real experience & ideas, etc would be greatly appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    MotoPG

Welcome to the forum. I would pick whichever floorplan you like best. It's very easy to maneuver the bigger trailers, just need to practice. I'm at 40'+ with mine and I don't think it's an issue. Get what makes you happy.

I agree, as long as your truck is capable of Handeling the weight, you will get used to the length and 31 feet is still not that long.

Get the camper you want because it is really expensive to upgrade in a couple of years.

For example: my wife look at various models, from time to time, and we have attended the Tampa Rv show, and we still say we have the best coach , we haven't found one that even comes close when it comes to comfort for us.

After sitting in both, what sold me on the 25G was the extra storage and bigger kitchen. The 21G fridge doors hit the tv wall. The 21G bedroom is inaccessible with the slide closed.

Have the 25G and is a better floor plan. 21G bathroom is a lousy hallway, 25 is out of the travel path. Bad for guests. I tow with a Duramax 2500hd no problem. My son tows his 21G with a Ram 1500 and that's maxxed out. Your Ford will handle both.

We wanted a 29g, but took a 31g instead. I could never completely eliminate sway, so now we pull a Momentum 349m. You will get used to the length pretty quickly.

I've never met the camper who said they had too much space.

Our 2006 Chevy 2500HD with 6Litre gas engine was underpowered and with too weak of a transmission for our Momentum 25G, unless your travel is very predominantly in the flatlands. We upgraded to a RAM 2500 with the 6.7 diesel for a world of difference.
