    Advice on Lake City, Colorado

    We are planning a trip to Lake City, CO, and are concerned about which route (which mountain pass) is best/safest for the final approach into Lake City.

    Our rig is a 315RLTS (38 ft total length) pulled by a 2019 Duramax 2500HD.

    Any insights are appreciated.

    According to the Mountain States Directory, your best approach will be from US 50 and CO 149.

    I haven't been to Lake City in over 40 years, so that's why I'm relying on the directory.

    I highly recommend purchasing it.
