Leveling System Grand Design Solitude 373FB (2018)
Hi all
Maybe someone can help us with our problem. After being gone for almost two months we wanted to start living in our RV again last Tuesday. First problem was that we could not operate the slideouts, but we solved that when we found out that the battery was flat. After changing this the slideouts worked fine.
The second problem however is not solved until now. We can no longer operate the leveling system. The display in the downstairs compartment is dead and cannot be brought to life. Also the display in the kitchen area no longer shows the app for the manual leveling. Our RV has tilted slightly to one side during our absence, which is a bit annoying if cooking or walking around.
We also tried to find the wifi router but were unsuccessful. Nothing in the lower compartment (we even took out one wall), and nothing behind the display in the kitchen, nor in any cabinet. We looked everywhere and could not find it... The leveling system is Lippert and I have also sent them an e-mail - so far without response.
Can anyone help us there.
Thanks a bunch and best regards

Looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum. So sorry to hear about the leveling problem, as you say "annoying if cooking or walking around." On my coach there is a manual leveling panel, does yours have anything like that? And I'm not clear on why you would be looking for the wifi router (are you sure you have one?), the control app on my rig runs on Bluetooth.

You might want to check the leveling system controller for bad fuses. It should be located in the overhead area of the very front storage bay. Also, the main controller might have a fuse associated with the leveling system, it's usually behind the false wall in big basement area, usually behind where the stairs are located.
For the battery, did you charge it or replace it? If only charged, the battery might not actually be good and could cause issues with the leveling system. A load test at an auto parts store will help determine if it is good or not.
Sometimes a complete reset of the system can fix issues as well. To do this, remove one of the battery terminal cables from the battery and make sure your converter breaker is off if connected to shore power. Replace battery cable and turn on converter. This will reset the One Control system. Depending how GD wired your RV, you might be able to use the battery disconnect switch instead of removing a cable, but you still need the converter breaker off.2023 Momentum 398M-R

Dear FT4NOW
Thanks for your help. We tried that yesterday and it did not help. The battery is fully charged (and new), so that cannot be the issue. We have requested a mobile RV technician to come buy on Thursday to hopefully solve the issue.

Hi y'all and thanks for your help. We are not really sure whether we have a wifi router but according to the Lippert documentation we should. Just cannot find it. Anyway, a technicial will come and look at the problem the day after tomorrow, hopefully able to help!
And yes, we are new here, on this webpage as well as in the RV world. We bought our RV last October in Maryland and drove all the way down to South Texas (took us three weeks). Since then we live in the RV full time, our house in Switzerland is sold and we are looking forward to buying a piece of property somewhere at a lake in mid/west Texas where we want to build a house. Until then this 373 is our permanent home!

Really sounds like a fuse; likely blown during battery installation. To be clear when we say fuse, this will NOT be one of the fuses in your fusebox, but rather an in-line fuse. As FT4NOW stated, this fuse is in your front storage area and not readily visible. Trace the wire from your controller box, likely mounted on the middle of the ceiling of the front storage area, over toward the battery.
