    Furrion refrigerator

Today was our official maiden voyage. (I'm not counting the trip home from the dealer.) Thanks to all of the well-wishers at The Ranch, we got out about 45 minutes behind the planned departure time. Since that was less than the hour I had guessed we would need, I'm happy. We went about 250 miles or so, and arrived here mid-afternoon. That's when the fun began.

Jo Ann quickly told me that the refrigerator wasn't working. I poked around a bit and found a label on the 120 V panel for a refrigerator breaker and no fuses or breakers in the 12 V panel. That told me that, contrary to what the dealer told us, this IS a residential refrigerator. I called the service department at the dealership and all they could tell me was that I would have to pull the refrigerator out in order to see if it had become unplugged. We emptied the refrigerator and wrestled it most of the way out. It isn't plugged in behind the refrigerator but at the back of the small cabinet under the stove. One screw removed the plywood cover and I had access to the outlet. I plugged a lamp into the outlet and the outlet is dead.

Had the service person actually known where the outlet was I could have been done an hour sooner. I've plugged the refrigerator into a heavy extension cord which in turn is plugged into a WORKING outlet. Tomorrow I'll talk to GD about finding a dealer along our route to fix the issue.

Yes, the refrigerator was running this morning. It has worked great, and still does, now that it is plugged into an outlet that actually works.

I'd like to check the inverter. Where might it be hidden?

I pulled this off the interwebs
    Does it make any sense?

The fridge plugs in the wall directly behind the refrigerator on the slide wall, when you first step into the trailer - you should see the control panel where you check your gray and black tanks as well as water heater. That control panel is at eye level, now look half way down and see the edge of the counter top. Just below the counter top you will see a small black panel about 2in by 3in - it will say Inverter and it has a small button - push the button and it will light up green if the inverter is on.

Another interwebs post about inverter location

I just wanted to add that the inverter in my 315 is located behind the drawers in bedroom in the space where water heater is. Under the closet that shares the wall with bathroom.

Yes, the light for the inverter is on, and has been since we got the trailer at the end of January. Of course, we've been plugged in that whole time - until today. Tomorrow I'll see what I can see in that closet area. That's about half-way between the batteries and the electrical panels, so that makes sense. There is nothing but the solar controller in the pass-through area, at least out in the open.

Maybe that switch/light needs to off to switch to shore power???
I have zero idea as I don’t have that system

    Good luck

My 315 is a 12v furrion fridge. Which works great also.

The inverter is located behind the fuse panel.

I don't understand what you mean by being plugged into an outlet.
