Howdy from Texas
Just got our 2nd travel trailer a 2018 Imagine 2050BR towing with a 2022 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi. The trailer has been very well maintained. Just some fading on the couch cushions is all. Our grandkids live our of state we like to spend a couple of months with them in summer. Next month we're gonna to AZ and a stop in New Mexico on the way home. Just excited our last trailer was falling apart no one maintained it at all.

Livingston is a nice small Texas town. If you have never been to Livingston, the Escapee's park just south of Livingston on highway 146 initially was going to be a housing addition but then turned into the Escapee's RV Club main facility. It's a nice RV Park and some sections are a little dated but very nice clean RV Park. The Escapee's Care Center is a great facility for elderly RVers that need a helping hand. If you need to, the Escapee's Smart Weigh is there to weigh your rig, it's well worth it imo. They will give you your rigs weight by each tire. The Escapee's mail center is a nice facility but I don't think they have reopened it to tours again. We get our USPS mail forwarded to us by the mail center where ever we are in the US about every two weeks. Lot's of nice restaurants in Livingston like Shrimp Boat Manny's and Joe's Italian Grill. There's a Walmart, HEB Grocery, Tractor Supply and just about everything you need.
The vehicle License and Registration office is close to downtown and they are very easy to do business with or once you get your vehicle registrations changed renew by USPS mail. You'll have to go to the DPS offices to change your drivers license and read up on that process so you wont be surprised. Like you'll need an original certified birth certificate with the embossed stamping from where ever you were born.
It's very easy to join Escapee's RV Club and get Texas residency, once you get your new permanent address in Livingston on Rainbow Drive move your vehicle registrations and drivers license to Polk County Texas, register to vote and make every intention to become Polk County Texas Residents. Lots of good information on the Escapee's web site.
Welcome to Texas and welcome to fulltiming! Lake Livingston State Park is also a great place to visit.
