    Shower fittings

We have a 2021 GD Momentum 31G toyhauler. There is a leak coming from the shower controls that appears to be from the fittings as it's not behind the wall. I have spoken with GD customer service and the tell me that face plate cover doesn't come off. That the fittings need to be accessed while the cover is on, but it only pulls out about an inch. I don't see how to get in there with any tools. The picture is coming out sideways. the center shower fitting is on top

    Where is it leaking from?

Is it leaking around the controls INTO the shower or leaking from the supply lines in the back?

If the “cartridges” are leaking they come out through the front. You should screw that assembly back onto the shower wall

I don't see any water coming from the supply lines or from where it screws on to the mixing valve. But there is t-fitting that goes to the hot and cold and the T goes up to the shower head. That's where I saw some water. Additionally, we have been stationary for five months and use the park showers, if that's relevant

I do not see how those "cartridges" comes off. If I screw the assembly back to the wall, I cannot get to anything. Do I have to take the handles off and turn counter-clockwise to unscrew?

There should be a plastic nut holding cartridge in

I added this link to show an example of what it could be like. I can’t really tell if yours is like this from your pic

That looks like the same thing except for the colors. Mine has the cold water color gray with the hot as white. How do I get that off if it needs to be replaced?

That looks like mine except for the color. The problem is that that entire unit appears to be on piece. It doesn't look like those fittings, the hot and cold, are separate and can be unscrewed

it needs to be accessed from the back side for removal. I have mine out right now, and I cut an access hole on the opposite side of the wall in the bedroom. Picked up an Oatey access panel to cover the hole.
