    Thank you for that. I was hoping not to have to cut into the wall behind the fixture, but even Grand Design's tech service people informed me that that the shower controls were a one piece unit and cannot be accessed. The "cartridges" that others were referencing cannot be removed; I tried and what appears to be a nut, doesn't turn.

    I have never had occasion to remove my shower faucet. Can the faucet be pulled away from the shower wall enough to unscrew the PEX fittings, without having to come in through the back?

    I was able to get it off without, but had to cut the opening to reinstall. Way too tight for my little fat fingers....LOL.

    Was water left in the hose during a freeze? Mine cracked between the valves
