    Converter / Controller questions

    I have a new 2024 Reflection 337 RLS.
    370 watt panel.
Furrion 60a solar controller set to L1 lithium.
Progressive Dynamics P9360 converter set to lithium
    Hooked to shore power.

I'm putting in new lithium-ion batteries. I'm charging them one at a time per manufacturer instructions before final parallel installation.
Solar controller seems to be working and converter.
Batteries were at 27% SOC when starting charge. Both charged to 100% SOC but charging voltage was never more than 13.6 volts.
With batteries now at 100% SOC per BMS static voltage is also 13.6 volts.

My question is, isn't the solar controller and or the converter supposed to charge at 14.6 volts when set to lithium and shouldn't my static battery voltage now be 14.2 - 14.4?

Am I missing something or is this all good?

    TIA

There are people with much more knowledge than me, but you CAN charge to 100% with a charge voltage under 14.6...it just takes longer. And I think 100% charge is still under 14v.
You converter not going over 13.6 makes me think it is not on lithium profile?

Scott....You are correct. A fully charged LFP cell voltage is ~3.45V. Multiply that time 4 cells in the battery and you come up with 13.8V. And what you said about getting to full charge is certainly possible with voltages less than 14.6 (many of us use chargers that do just that....mine is set to 14.2V) and yes, it take the recharging time a bit longer, but it's less stressful on the battery/cells. 13.6V is a common float voltage and again, you may be on to something about the settings not being for a LFP battery or there is an issue with the charger.

Both my converter and controller are definitely set to lithium. I have confirmed several times.
