Ok. My husband and I are a couple years out from retirement but are in the prep process. We purchased a tow vehicle ('15 Silverado 3500 4x4 diesel long bed) this month and are leaning towards the 385TH. I would love to FT it, but hubby has concerns. Any advice? Is the 385TH a good choice (2 Harleys and 2 Labs) for FTing it? Will there be limitations on where we can stay? etc., etc.

This is our start of full timing and one of the hurdles is not being able to go out in the garage and get any tool I need or a nail/screw or a piece of wood. I had to think about all my tools and decide what really was needed as there is not unlimited space. I gave all my important tools (that could not be taken) to my son, so I can get something if I really need it.

Our choice was the 380TH because I liked the extra counter (where the TV is in the 385) and liked that the TV is directly across from the chairs. Had to give up the garage bathroom to get this, but are OK with the choice.

I think most state parks in NY can't take a 42' camper, but most private campgrounds have a few spots. We haven't had a problem yet, but you do need to plan ahead if possible and get a reservation locked in.

I think you will like full timing and if you don't have a house anymore, the lack of mortgage payment and taxes seems to take away any pain that you are feeling!
