    Simple inverter

Not sure why TVs in RVs are not all 12 volt but it is what it is. I am looking for a simple inverter that I can hook up to the battery in the RV to power a small TV. Suggestions?

Because in order to get a large television it would be expensive and most people wouldn’t want it

Inverters can be pretty cheap for simple versions. Go just about anywhere and pick one up. Of course, once you do that you might find the convenience drives you to upgrade again and again until you can power everything without plugging in to shore power.

Nah, I think we are good at this point. I was thinking of just a simple inverter for "just in case". CPAP, TV, etc. Our next rig will have the bells and whistles.

Make sure you over buy on watts. Those small 40W inverters have internal fans and run as soon as you plug just about anything in. Very annoying.
For a TV I would want a 1500W unit. Most TVs that are in the 32-40" range can draw 40-60W depending on LED/LCD,etc
I have a 2000W inverter and run a 40" Samsung along with a soundbar and subwoofer. I don't hear the fan come on. It is in the front storage compartment but I have heard it when running the micro. If it does come on I don't hear it.

Thank you very much for the info. I knew I would get an answer to the question eventually.

For just the TV I'd suggest this one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004MDXS0U). It's pretty quiet and should handle a CPAP as well. Most GD coaches don't supply much in the way of 12-volt outlets, you might want to wire something into an unused port on your 12-volt panel (like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NVP63QB).
