New owner of 2023 Grand Design 17 MKE looking for mattress upgrade for murphy bed

Hello all,
I just bought a 2023 Grand Designs 17MKE travel trailer and know that I will have to upgrade the bed since I will be living in the trailer full time for a few years and will be traveling across country each year. Has anyone had any luck finding a good mattress that will fit this murphy bed system? Thank you for any information.

We have the same trailer. We bought a short queen 4" topper: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09PRDR66T/
We couldn't be happier with it. It folds up fine (a little squeeze, but not much).

We bought a Sleepy's Snug 8" RV Queen from Mattress firm. They had a special on their website a few months ago. VERY comfortable and fits just fine. Doesn't use fiberglass in the construction of any of the coverings unlike some of the other brands of memory foam mattresses. I know a regular queen would fit the bed too, but the RV queen was half the price for some reason. Still listed for $299 but they have a $50 coupon and if you chat with one of their "sleep experts" and ask for a better price they will often give more discount.

We have a different trailer but same murphy bed configuration - our 2nd Imagine with a murphy. We bought the 8 inch version of this mattress and so far it has been great. It takes more effort to push it closed (push the mattress in first, then the base, then roll over the couch back).
