Making a two day drive, one battery, residential fridge running on an inverter (that draws amps also) hydraulic slides & landing gear. No way is he going to make it that long unless his drive time is short & he's plugged in between days.
My point was that few Solitudes are prepped with only one battery & should contact his selling dealer & try to get another. Mine came with two & I have a Norcold absorption fridge
There was another thread here that the OP was having trouble with his hydraulics, if I remember correctly the conclusion was lack of power with one battery.Last edited by Gronk1; 03-31-2023 at 05:54 PM.

I am guessing you hav one 300 watt panel on the rig. Your lead acid battery will have a heck of a time keeping up with that Residential refrigerator for much more than 5 to 6 hours. Remember you only can discharge a lead acid to 50%. Your solar will provide some help, if you have a nice sunny day. You’ll need to hook up to shore power overnight or if you have a generator run it.

The ideal setup for your situation would be a 300ah lithium (Chins or equivalent) and a dc to dc charger like a victron 30amp unit. A residential fridge will smash through 120 ah a day minimum. Prolly higher. A 12 volt fridge on an 80* day will eat up 80 to 100 ah a day. A residential fridge is bigger and there is 10% inverter loss on top of that.
A dc to dc charger like the victron unit (it actually outputs 37 amps in my trailer) will draw about 45 amps from the tv. Avoid long idles with the dc to dc charging as cooling is attenuated at idle. But it will keep the fridge running splendidly and your camper will be 100% charged at arrival.
Do you consume anything on long...
