Bus Bar & Circuit Breaker Wires

    Hi Folks,

As i get closer to doing my Inverter install, I am looking at all the areas I can clean up and make better. One of those areas is the exposed circuit breakers in the front of my rig. I have figured all of the wires out (I think) but I am stumped on one of them the red one.

I took a photo and labeled mine with what I think are the wires are. This is for a Reflection 315rlts 2020 model year.

Could it be related to the awning, lighting, or maybe tank heaters? You could always disconnect it and see what doesn't work anymore.

I took off the switch panel in my 398 garage to add a dimmer switch and there was a relay on the back of it. Weirdest thing, when I removed one of the wires, the light in my loft came on, when I put the wire back the light went out, once all reconnected, all lights work as they should.

Yea, May have to do that. I was looking at another thread and maybe it is the holding tank heaters. Come in through a 30 amp cb and go into a 40 amp cb.

Should be tank heaters. Take a look at this video - a little bit different, but you will see that the tank heater circuit goes through a relay.

    https://youtu.be/VoBHzAFX6pk

Also, not sure about the white/black wire going to the brakes. You show a black wire going to the e-brake (break-away switch). That looks correct (non-fused circuit). You might check the storage area lights - they typically remain on when the battery disconnect is off.

Thanks. Sounds like the red is the tank heaters.

Next time I am at the trailer location I am going to buzz them out . Will come back here and update.

    Great video!

    Thanks,

Well I had a chance to get back to the trailer, but that thick wire goes into the main bundle into the underbelly. So the mystery continues for now. Confirmed with multimeter the red wires in question are in fact the tank heaters.

What is the possibility that is for the through the frame slides (Electric Rack & Pinion)?
