thumbnails not appearing on mobile site

i created a for sale post with uploaded images that appear in the desktop version of Grand Design Forum but not when site is accessed via a mobile device. i welcome any tips to correct. thanks.

Are you using Tapatalk or the mobile version by switching at the bottom of the screen? There have been issues with tapatalk lately with photos. If it is on tapatalk contact them as well.

On edit: it is the mobile site for the forum, it could be because it is mobile and limiting attachment data. @Janet H may be able to shed some light on this

Were you logged in when you had this trouble?

There is a setting in your profile that may need to be adjusted - Thread display options.

Be sure to scroll and save at the bottom of the page.

You may also have some device settings that limit image display (to save bandwidth)

I looked at the OP's for sale post today from my iPhone - logged in and not logged in - on the mobile site. I could not see the photos either way and my options in my settings Janet pointed out are OK.

I think it has to do with the photos being "attached" rather than inserted in the post's text area via the picture ICON option in the toolbar or the file attache option in the advanced toolbar. It is like the photos are not part of the post but are inserted below the post as an attachment.

I just "attached" 3 photos and looked at the mobile site. I can't see my photos either. I attached these by going into "Advanced", then went to Manage Photos, selected 3 photos and dragged them into the lower half of the photo selection box, then rather than selecting the "Insert Inline" check box I just said "Done"; they got attached rather than be part of the post.

How did you attached (or insert) your photos in your post? It looks like it is possible that they won't be seen on the mobile site if they are "attached" rather than inserted in line in your post.

To add to the confusion I attached a picture using the pic icon on the quick reply . It uploaded and was able to view it on my Android tablet but not viewable on my Android phone. with the error contact admin box
I then inserted using the bb code with them pic hosted here and it was viewable on both the phone and tablet.

Anyhow I am wondering if part of the issue is with the quick reply box. For those having the proble maybe its time to play in the full editor and see if there is still the same photo problem
