I posted this under frames but just in case . . .
For what it's worth...Reflection line - had a stab rocker switch go bad the other day. We are in Durango, CO and there is a local RV dealer so we had them order one from GD - $29.63!!!!! The switch from GD was $15 and then the RV shop had to mark it up. Anyway, after recovering from price shock I decided to do the repair. I shook my head in amazement as I pulled the old one out. The 4 wires leading to the plug are all in protective covering. The back of the switch into which those wires plug into is exposed to water and dirt spray from the rear tires. The rocker switch, pretty intricate in itself, had corrosion and gunk on all the contacts. I can see why the switch failed and I can see how a corroded switch would trip a fuse. There is no protection for the back of that switch once it is secured to that wheel well - the wires are fine but the back of the switch is going to be a problem.

Yes...the rocker switch that raises and lowers the rear stabilizers. Ours has no protection from wheel water and dirt splash.

Thanks....I think that would work...I was thinking of inserting the rocker switch in a bag and then placing the whole thing in the well and screw it down - I like your idea better. Putting a half tube of clear silicon all over the back of that bad boy. And then see how much dirt and water get to the switch.

We had the switch go bad the same day we visited GD factory! I called Jerry Weaver in Customer Service, drove over to his shop a picked up a new one. I need to order one just to keep in my "extra" box.

I have had both switches go bad, replaced under warranty. The rear stabilizer switch contacts were covered with expansion foam used at the factory to seal seams. The foam had corroded/fouled the contacts on the rear of the switch. I will silicone the new one. The front jack rocker switch just broke!
