Why do you find it useless? I mean it is just a water hose. It has limited use

Mine must be different takes seconds. It is all metal. Push in on the coil hose fitting while pushing on the collar

Mine can be difficult at times, but it isn't THAT bad that I won't use it. It's invaluable when the Grandkids are done playing in the creek, mud, or whatever.

Actually I only used mine once, when some inconsiderate person didn't clean up after their dog.
You need to be able to use it on both sides of the rig when winterizing.

I have trouble getting our outside one in but will try to lube it. I also have trouble getting it out but have a hack. I have a short piece of 1/2 pvc that is on the hose near the nozzle. It just slides over it loosely bit is the right diameter to push the outer part in easily to release the fitting.

We use it alot to preclean plates and pots and pans.

We picked up the right one from the dealership. Oddly it is different than the one I borrowed from another GD owner, but it seems to work fine and is easy to put in. No part number on it, so can't help with that.

I found it useful for putting out the fire and cleaning stuff off last trip.
