Rain gutter empties over storage hatch 17MKE

My 2022 17MKE was designed so that the rain or AC condensation emptied onto your head when accessing the front storage door. The end of the rail just pours on your head. Anyone know how to alleviate this issue? Sometimes I am standing in front of the storage opening for several minutes. It's really annoying.

try leveling it so the water goes the other way

That's a good thought but I'm not sure if my refrigerator would appreciate the angle. I' try it and see how much I'd need to raise the front of the trailer.

Other than putting a hose over the end of the gutter what else could you do??
I would just use an umbrella. Anything you modify will look bad imo

I agree. I guess either an umbrella or a "rain hat" of some kind.

I’ve seen people jamb a hollow pool noodle onto the downspout to redirect the flow

Now that you’ve discovered this, you’ll start to notice how most trailers are that way. Annoys the crap out of me too haha, although I’ve never done much about it. Usually a minimal amount of tilt back will make it so the AC at least drains elsewhere - then you only get soaked when it’s raining
