Roku flat screen turns on when connected to Shore Power

Had the same problem with ours. It’s in settings, but not demo. I’m not near my unit now but I believe it was a setting for turning the tv back on after loosing power. If you don’t find it I will look it up when we return to the US Sunday.

Finally got around to going through setup on my new TCL Roku today. There was not a setting option in the menu to control "store/home" or "power on/off" settings. The option was to "reset to factory" and in that process select "home" instead of "store". Selecting "home" seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for sharing the details with the OP. I trust these steps still apply to current generation TVs. Hopefully the OP will respond that they do or do not or share the actual steps needed.

I re-did these steps on mine and it sure did fix mine completely. Not sure why the first time it didnt, maybe I did it wrong before, but when I did them this week, it fixed them completely!

The TCL Roku TV that came with our 2023 Reflection 337RLS did the same thing and there was not a setting to change it. My sister picked up a Reflection 315RLTS at the same time and experienced the same problem with their TV. We replaced that Roku controlled object with at 43" TCL Android TV and problem was solved. Fits perfectly. As a side note, the Roku menu is the worst I have ever come across.

AMEN! Went to Best Buy and bought a $99 Insignia that fits and has a simple menu and remote. Love it.

Why do they even put a "smart TV" in an RV? Do they expect everyone to have broadband everywhere they camp? I confess I don't get it.

Personally, I appreciate it. If we have tmobile signal we use the phone hotspot to watch Netflix sometimes. It's nice to have the options.

We've done a reset and taken it out of demo mode...still happens and goes back to demo mode. Time is always wrong on it too and cannot get that corrected. We bought the same exact TV for the bedroom that is in our "livingroom", and it does not have these issues at all.

You have to reset the television using the reset feature in the menu
