What to do with those heavy sink covers

Whilst camping we end up stashing the sink covers under the sink for meal prep and wash up. Then we drag them back out to "make things pretty" or head home. This works but it's a lot of bother.
    What do others do?
(And yes ... I realize that if this is my only issue then I am blessed, indeed! )

It's are stored under the sink. Probably going to be stored in the round filing bin shortly.

Stored in my home garage. I don't carry them with me. Just a few pounds of dead weight that is not needed to be carried in the camper.

We store ours on edge under the sink. They don't take up much room, don't have to be moved, and we have them if we need the counter space, which is rare. Mostly we forget they're down there.

Ours are kept in the taller cabinet under the television, they are not used often but are handy when needed.

BUT in todays 303 this cabinet does not exsist due to larger tvs and fireplaces..not sure why they decided to remove 4 cabinets and a large drawer for a larger TV , I'd sure miss all that storage . They are not wide cabinets but well used.

Our sink covers are in our storage unit... I guess I thought we should keep them for when we sell the RV. They are heavy enough that I was concerned they would become ballistic if left on the sinks during travel and we hit a really bad construction transition or something. The Solitude 310 has enough counter space without them and we always have a drain rack in the large left-hand sink, anyway.

Ours are in the very deep side cabinet by the sofa. In their place is a 3/8 thick cutting board ($10 at Wally World) cut to fit over 1/2 the sink opening. It gets used every trip and is holding up well. It does start to sag a little over time, but a flip makes it good again.

Early on we left them in place while moving as they stayed in place on our last trailer, this trailer not so much. They are cut to loose. We now keep them on the floor under the dinette. DW likes to use them to hide the dirty dishes till we have enough to wash, I want to put them in the attic next to the two dinette folding chairs.
    I lost that one.
