Overnighting on a flat spot and NOT unhooking
Hello to all.
We have a huge (to us) trip coming up in June, 3000 miles in 3+ weeks. We have a 2022 303RLS 5'R.
A few stops are single overnights to get to other places the following day. To keep from unhooking and hooking up for a single nights stay, can I realistically leave the camper connected, connect electrical and use the rear feet to lift/stabalize the camper some?
I know I can use the back feet, but all in all, will this work or do others do this, and if so, anything to be careful of or do/not do or be careful of?
This will help tremendously on simple overnights.
Thanks

I do it frequently, I'll put the front landing gear down, but I make sure I don't go any higher than I would when unhitching the truck. As long as it is close enough to level I'll also put slides out.

Thanks FT, my camper sits within a half bubble front/back when hooked to my truck. I don't need slides out because I can access half of fridge and bathroom/bedroom. I "might" need to put out bedroom slide but, think that will not be a problem.
Thanks again.Msgt Ray (Ret) and Margie Parker

I get as close to level as I can, drop the front feet to level front to back and then put down the rest of my landing gear manually. I don't self level.

Same as above. I also chose to not empty the black tank unless needed and will run with about 1/4 potable. Helps keep the weight lower on the 5th wheel during higher winds. All I have to do in the morning is raise the landing gear. lock my pin (Ultimate Anderson hitch) and unplug 50 amp cord.

We put on 12,000 miles last year from NH to SD/WY/MT twice (two weddings) and two trips to NC. A lot of overnight stops where I didn't disconnect. Dropped the front jacks until they touched ground then manually got close to level if I wanted the slides out. Some sites were better than others but rarely felt the need to disconnect with the goosebox.
