2023 MY slideout pools water and leaks outboard side of trailer
At least one of the 12 foot long slideouts allows water into trailer ceiling during heavy rain. Leak starts outboard of the trailer - NOT at the rubber seal on trailer. Water beads up on the slideout ceiling, moving progressively closer to the inboard silde of the ceiling. Water is pooled up on top of slideout toward the center (sagging roof). Pushing on the roof near the aluminum lip shows water is trapped under the edge of the roofing material (There's a thin 2" wide rubber strip on this edge of the roof). Towing to a service center will be very expensive, so I'm wondering if there's any fix that I can implement myself. I'll also check with a local repair service, too. Is this a common problem? Any ideas/examples on how to fix?

There must a leak somewhere
Unfortunately it sounds like some structural damage has now occurred
Unsure if you have the ability to fix something like this. Only you know
It could be a big repair for a dealer and costly
Good luck2021 Imagine 2400 BH

Thank you. This leaking started within two weeks of delivery to us. So no structural damage at that time - just poor design and build. Should have better support internally to cause water to drain off properly and not pool up.
Thanks again.

I pictured it as sagging. It shouldn’t sag and you said you felt like there was water underneath?
Maybe I am not picturing it right
So where is water coming in? Through a seal or do you think a seam that should be waterproof?
How long have you owned it?

First off, what unit do you have?
Is the unit level? Most GD slide outs have tapered rooflines on the slides, so I can't see how it would pool unless you are not level.
The entire slide out assembly is laminated, unless you have Transcend.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

All, thanks for the responses. The leak is on the far side of the slide, away from trailer. Of course, this taper to the outside is intentional in order to carry water away from the trailer. But the sag from front to back allows pooling of water. Should be NO sag!! Anyone else had a leak like this?
