I had Westlake E range tires on my 2019 Grand Design Reflection. In a little over a year with only a couple trips of about 700 miles one way I had tread separate from the tire. It wasn't a blow out but tread wrapped around axle on interstate. I got rid of everyone of these tires for Goodyear Endurace.

Just took our camper, 2019 Transcend 29TBS, out of storage and set up in the driveway to prep for the season. Trailer shows manufactured 6/2018 and the tires show made the 52nd week of 2017. We purchased it new in May 2019 and due to lack of knowledge didn't realize the tires were over a year old. Now a have a Westlake tire that is flat and blew out right in the middle of the tread. Now looking for tires to replace all five tires. Thankful it did not blow while on the road with the family. Fortunately no plans for the near future.

One more data point for a good experience with G rated Westlakes; 4 seasons, no issues.

On another note, anyone with Sailuns from the recall window; do not put off getting that addressed. I had a set of 4 that had no date code stamp and I kept meaning to replace, but never did.

I agree the Westlakes need to be changed: I have now had 2 of them go. Does anyone have any experience with the GT Maxmiler tires?

I changed them for the Goodyear Endurance, LZ-E. No problems in about 20,000 miles.

When mine disintegrated it caused over $1000 damage to the side of the trailer. Insurance paid but it still cost me $375 plus a new tire. I replaced all four with the Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15 LZ-E.
