3rd year on my Westlakes and they are performing very well. Best wearing tire I have used

BUT this is a very hot topic on here that you can search the forum for

I am sure this thread is going to get out of hand unfortunately

Welcome to the forum.
The Westlakes are affectionately known as "China Bombs" by several folks in the RV world (and this forum) Do a search for "china bomb" and read about the bad experiences some have had with tires.
I replaced my Westlakes with Good Year Endurance when they started to show a little wear, also did the wet bolt and Mor Ride equalizer install.

I have been in the tire business since 1978 and you couldn't run fast enough to give me any tire branded Westlake. Absolute junk.

I bought the trailer new in 2021 I keep hearing China bombs but wasn't sure of brand. So far they are wearing good and probably hav about 2500 to 3000 miles on them

You'll find this has been asked and answered more times than you can count on the forum - and there are almost as many opinions as there are members... mostly on one end of the spectrum or the other. It boils down to this: the Westlake load range G tires that come on the Solitudes and larger Momentums are a decent tire with a good track record; the lower load range Westlake tires have a poor track record.

I believe it is more the e range. The d series I have are fine and it is all operator error imo
