First off, it looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum. Choosing a stain can be challenging, especially if you want an exact match. We're refinishing the top of our table, we considered Minwax's Ebony, Dark Walnut, and Jacobean and ended up with Dark Walnut.

I had built a couple of doors for my unit and had the same problem finding a stain that matched, I called Grand Design and they were no help whatsoever. They claimed it was some proprietary color only their vender knew and would not share with the general public. It turns out the product they use is a stain, and finish mix they spray on in one shot. I took one of the existing doors off my unit and took it to my local paint store and they were able match it up.

I wanted to do the same thing but couldn’t find anything that made my wife happy. She decided to brighten the place up a bit and went with an off white paint. Turned out pretty good.

The dark walnut, unfortunately is not dark enough. The original stain on it is very dark. I appreciate your trying to help.
