Reccs for Chocks and Blocks- Tires and Stabilizers
Hi Fellow GD Owners,
Just came home with our GD 297 RSTS Travel Trailer today.....about 34 ft long. Looking for recommendations for a nice set of heavy duty rubber chocks for in front and back of the wheels when parked. Also looking for reccs on what to put under the stabilizer jacks (do we use the RV leveling Lego-like blocks or Ox Blox?) TIA

We use the rubber chocks from Harbor Freight, price is right, just keep them outside for a day or two to let them outgas. We use the Camco yellow blocks, cheapest way to go, not really cheap, but cheaper and more adjustable than ones like the OxBlox, or Andersen buckets. Although we do have two Andersen buckets for the front legs.

+1 for Harbor Freight blocks, Northern Tool also has some decent rubber ones.

Another vote for Harbor Freight chocks (the large ones).
I tie 2 together so it is easier to tote around and also pull loose.
Am I the only one using a set on each side? I had a TT skew on me once because I only blocked one side - an unforgettable moment.Larry KE4DMG

X2 on the Fastway. Love them. Adjustable for any space between the front and back tire so you have a nice tight fit.

X4 on the Harbor Freight chocks. I tied a rope handle on each to be able to carry them and chock both front and back on each side.
