Thetford toilet seat, lid pins fall out

The seat, lid pins on our Thetford toilet in our 2500 RL keep falling out. Maybe by movement towing or use. After the third time falling out, I can’t find one of them. Maybe flushed down the toilet in to the tank. Now I have one pin and it requires two. I’m having a hard time finding the part and numbers. If I get new ones is there a remedy to keep them in the hinge? Thanks for any and all replies.

We replaced the toilet seat on our toilet with a quiet-close toilet seat from a home improvement store. It's more comfortable, easier to clean, and we don't accidentally drop it. You just need one of the regular round seats - not elongated.

What Rob said. We did the same thing. Much better and actually cleaner too.Flat on the bottom and raiser to clean.
