Wanting to avoid damage to passthrough door seals

I have a storage bin for the water hoses in the passthrough that is used frequently. Lifting it up and over the door seal isn't easy and I have already replaced the rubber seal once under warranty. I want to avoid damaging it again and can only think of making a ramp on the inside to assist lifting the bin over the seal. Asking if there are other ideas.

You might consider a sliding tray. Youtube has quite a few videos on those: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...v+sliding+tray
